You could try shazam on your mobile phone. I tried to find an online version but couldn't.

My first thought when I heard this was 'Hiawatha'... and I have NO idea why!!!

I'm wondering if it was part of the bugs bunny cartoon when he had the Hiawatha dream? Anyway, I have it playing in the background on Utoob, so if the music comes on, I'll investigate further!

Methinks it was a kids' telly theme in the seventies....but can't help past that.

it sounds almost the magic roundabout theme - has the same tinny jingliness, i think, but it isn't

God, I know this tune too.....thanks MrsF, no sleep for me tonight.

It reminded me instantly of being about seven, so I reckon Muddywitch is on the money with it being a theme tune to a TV programme. Either that, or a song we used to sing in school with one of those Singing For Schools programmes they used to have on the radio - Radio 4, I think, in the days of yore. The sort of programmes that taught you songs from around the world like The Banana Boat song, and Davy Jones' Locker....

Julie, it made me think of Native America as well, but then listening to it again it also sounds quite Chinese sounding....(mind you, that's hardly surprising, is it?).

Thing is, I know that tune so well I have words for it right on the tip of my tongue....
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

not sure but it sounds like Ghost riders in the sky by Jonny Cash I googled it and played a copy and it sames very similar it was also recently used as a theme for the movie Ghost Rider
Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."
