antipodean courgette?

Post: # 199292Post snapdragon »

I really should have taken a photo of it :banghead:
Checked my (still in growhouse) courgette seedlings and one was growing upside down :dontknow: properly upside down!! - roots in the air and shrivelled and leaves in the soil

It happens :dontknow:
Quite often happens to beans as well, broad and runner, especially if you start them off in pots and sow the seed upside down.
No idea why it happens though as I remember when I was at school back in the dark ages my biology teacher said that geotropism stopped things like that from happening.
Looks weird though, doesn't it.
