Hello from Wiltshire

Post: # 196857Post Bunty of the Buns »

Hi there folks. I heard about this forum from a couple of current members, Gert and Mrs Gert, who live just up the road (hello chaps). They came to the Wiltshire get together at the weekend and they've told me what a lovely bunch of peeps you seem to be, so I thought I'd come and join the fun. So helloooo!

I moved out to the sticks a couple of years ago and I'm revelling in chickens, sheep, a polytunnel full of veggies and rather a lot of rampant weeds... ahem.

I'm really big on food, growing it, making it, buying it, swapping it and, more importantly - eating it!!

The best thing about a forum like this? Well, after all these years of making bread and learning to spin and make pork pie or grow asparagus - apparently I'm not the only one! Yippee, there are lots of others just as strange as me, thank heavens.

Lovely to meet you all.

Bunty x

Hi and welcome Bunty.

Maybe you could come along to the next meet? We had a great time, but I guess that the Gerts told you that already.

Hi Bunty!

Welcome

Another Wiltshire lass - I missed the last meet but hope to make the next. Would also be interested to hear about your sheep -we went for pigs instead this year but are thinking about sheep for next year. Was addicted to Lambing Live!

Hi Bunty
I went to the meet too and met Mr and Mrs Gert for the first time. They're great. We had a lovely time. Hopefully we'll get more people at the next meeting.
