i am from a farming background my grand parents and great grand parents owned farms. have worked on different farms throughout my life. But moved away and became remedial/ Sports therapist ( like a physio).
have returned home with desires to downsize and get back to roots so to speak.
At the moment i run an allotment and a small plot of land adjacent to my home, just concentrating on smaller items for the table and freezer. last year i made decission to start breeding rabbits for the table - my grandfather having done so for many years and the usual trapping wild on the farms but also a little experience on a rabbit farm in Hampshire. This project has been the biggest delight for myself and the 2 boys.
the meat has been stunning and looking forward to trying the next generation of F1 hybrid from out pure bred and mixed stock. There is vertually no waste from the garden, the meat is stunning and whats more the manure is second to none 
i will post more on our set up as soon as i get the hang of this stuff lol.
