Hello from Kent, UK!

Post: # 196283Post Anna_Kent »

Hi everybody,

my name is Anne. I am interested in everything that is close to nature: wild food, animals :sunny: (it might sound a bit cheesy, sorry  ).
I am French but studying at the Uni. of Kent in Canterbury in a MSc of Ethnobotany programme.
Actually, for my final project, I am studying mushrooms, and I am looking for participants to fill in a questionnaire...I will post more details in the "Wild food" section, if this the right place to post it...

Hi Anna!

I am new here too and am very near you in Whitstable :sunny:

I dropped out of Kent uni a few years ago! Your degree sounds really interesting. There's a nice herbalist in Whitstable who might be happy to take your questionnaire or know others who would, you never know.

It is very interesting! But most of the students go far, far away (actually, there were very few students from the UK) to do their research, while there is so much to investigate here! :study:
But I guess it may also be a good occasion to travel...

But for me, a French!, Great-Britain is a very exotic and foreign country

 Well that's as original as anywhere else in France I guess! Paris is a lovely city and it's been too long since I visited, but I don't know if I could cope with the crowds, even Rennes seems busy to me these days.
