Chamomile

Post: # 194101Post thesunflowergal »

Not sure whether you are meant to spell it with a "h" or not :dontknow: ?

I have been trying to buy some locally, but with no joy. I know that I have bought it in the past. So what I am trying to find out is, is it easy to grow from seed?

Thanks Nikki

It is very easy to grow from seed, and it is self perpetuating if you allow some flowers to go to seed. I planted one tub of it a couple of years ago and it now comes back year after year, both in the tub and all round where the seed has fallen.
2010 is my year of projects - 365 days and 365 projects.

'My wonderful darling' is the one I hear an awful lot...... and like I have told him, if I hear anything in the slightest bit derogatory, I shall spit in his dinner!

Funnily enough, I was looking for chamomile plants recently too, and couldn't get one for love nor money. I've not been able to get any French Tarragon either.

And I never know whether that rogue 'h' should be there either. But I like to put it in, even though my standby box of teabags doesn't have the 'h'. The RHS book of herbs says 'chamomile', I'll go with whatever they say!
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.
