Me, my husband our 2 children and crazy dalmation moved from birmingham right in the city to llanymynech powys just over a month ago. It is something we have wanted to do for a long time but hasnt proven easy maily to the face that i dont drive, however we have done it and throughly enjoying it!
We have now owned 4 beautiful chickens for 2 and a half weeks and they are sooooo entertaining, dominic (the dal) is still deciding what he thinks of them but on the whole has been very good!
I have planted my seeds indoors, i was worried i had left it too late but i didnt start till we moved but things are looking good there too we now have basil, potatoes, toms, carrots, peas, french beans, cucumber, courgettes, salad onions, brown onions, strawberrys, broccoli, calabrese, corn on the cob, and 5 dif salad leafs sprouting up in my seed trays, and i have dug out a nice bed for them once they are big enough. There are a few more i would ,like to attempt soon mainly cabbages, sprouts and parsnips however i spent a small fortune on the above and need to wait a while before buying any more.
we are truly loving this new way of life just wish we had done it sooner
