You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."

May I ask how you did your beautiful labels? Is it a computer programme? I have been looking for a way to make some nice labels and yours are amazing

Hi Indy, we used Microsoft publisher because thats what we had at the time, in our former lives my wife was a profession secretary and great at editing my mistakes and I was a marketing manager and designed all my companies advertising material, so I guess its just practise, however if you would llike me to design a base template for a label for you happy to do so, and can email it to you. I would just need some basic information, a logo if you have one , fi not I'm sure we can improvise and even some sizes if you want us to do the label. I might mention on the back we had an ingredients list and a add for our other llines.

They do look fantastic and very professional!

If you don't mind me asking, whats your courgette pickle recipe? I will understand if its a trade secret
I just had so many last year it would be wonderful to have another use for them that doesnt require giving them away or freezing them! (I also now have a wonderful pantry which I am looking forward to filling up! I tried a recipe last year but noone would eat it as it had a funny after taste..
