Chickens

Post: # 190309Post thesunflowergal »

Hubby, T, T and I spent the afternoon building our chicken run onto the front of the girls old play house. So we are pretty much ready to roll, its been over a year in the planing  . I am so pleased that we can be a little bit more self sufficient now. Just need to find myself four ex batts and we will all be happy. My girls are so excited.
Stay at home Mummy to Orin 8, Trixie 6 and Temogen 4 . Also three Chickens Dottie, Poppy and Dr Mumbo. Three cats called Flossie and Pickle and Lexi.

Deluxe accommodation or what! Have you added a nest box for collecting eggs and a back door for cleaning out? ooh and a perch?

How long 'til the next release in your area?

Hi Sunflowergirl...

Speaking of ex-batts, I am in your local Battery Hen Welfare Trust rescue team. (well, I say local - your nearest group is probably Bristol I think?).

Not sure if you are on the re-homing list already, but we re-home about once a month...PM me if you would like to go on the list and I can help.

The henhouse sounds great!
