Wanted large cardboard boxes

Post: # 188632Post pelmetman »

Hi, I am on the lookout for Large used cardboard boxes for our Footseys stool business, they need to be at least 25"x 16", I can arrange collection by courier in the UK.
Unless anyone knows of a supplier of used boxes
Kind Regards

you might want to check at a walmart or one of those big stores where they get lots of merchandise and ask. I think that is the easiest way to find them. Also I dont think you will be able to find any cardboard box 25 feet long you might want to put them together with some tape.

hope this helps

25 inches!!!

Pelmetman - someone who has just moved house? Best bet is Freecycle, ours often has people asking for/giving away cardboard boxes.

Local supermarkets? - the boxes that come to them full of tins of beans and such? They can be cut and shut to make boxes the right size

You are lucky if your local supermarkets will sell you those boxes. Ours don't for some reason. I think they are in short supply of boxes or it's just a policy. What I did was go around town asking my friends for those boxes. And if worst came, I'd have to go around the neighbors door to door. LOL!

At our local Apollo electrical discount store there was a skip outside full of large scrap cardboard boxes from things like freezers, washing machines, large LCD TVs etc ... just an idea.

I admit to liberating a few bits of nice clean scrap wood for the stove... presumably skids for washing machines or smth.
