Hello to all,
I have been following this site for a while now and finally thought I should join in. The idea of being self sufficient has appealed to me for a long time but I never thought of it as a reality living in the leafy suburbs of Cardiff. I don't think I can be truely self sufficient but its worth a crack.
I live with my wife, two teenage sons and two rabbits all of whom live in fear of the sabre toothed mouse living in the garage and our local urban fox (nicknamed "Scabby").
As I turn my perfectly pristine mud and moss patch into something useful I'm sure I will have many questions as this is going to be a really steep learning curve.
