Help! Forgotten my password AND changed my email!

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

Help! Forgotten my password AND changed my email!

Post: # 187351Post marshlander »

Lucky me got a laptop for Christmas but I can't use it to log on to SSish as I can't remember my password. (My pc remembers the password) It's no good getting an automated email as I've changed my ISP and email.

I've tried logging on with the pc but I can't change my email to get a new password sent without the um... password. Catch 22. :banghead:

Please can anyone in admin help? Can you amend my password and tell me what it is or amend my email so I can get auto message? Let me know to whom I should pm with my new email address.

Otherwise will I have to start over with a new name etc? :(

Fingers crossed in anticipation

Sorry - I had a look too, thought I'd sussed it then bottled it :pale: (Susie and I are the newbie mods  ). I'm sure someone will sort it in the morning, if they're not around this evening.

Dont know what browser you are using but here are two examples: windows mail click the following:
start;user icon in right corner;in left pane click manage passwords then click edit passwords and you should be able to do something from there.

In Thunderbird : go to Edit;preferences;edit saved passwords;show saved passwords and hey presto your in.If these do not help give more data and I will dig I love a challenge

Well they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder so maybe my eyes are wonky  Something that may be of interest to all I have been messing around making labels for wine/jam etc and found a great piece of software thats free to download it is glabels label designer the only downside is being American all measurements are imperial which may fry the heads of you youngsters out there.Other than that it appears so far to be very good.Any of you not using the open source stuff really should take a look its brilliant.
