well iv'e got my op date at last !!

Do you remember a year ago when i got knocked off my bike, well they finally have got round to fixing my shoulder , its called a rotator cuff operation , the specialist said it may take up to six months to heal from so i'm running around like a headless chicken sorting out friends to help with the allotment, so on february the 10th they go in , can't say i'm happy but it has to be done.

It's usually a really successful op, Russ. I worked in orthopaedics for a while and we did quite a lot.

Just make sure you heed their advice, exercises, physio etc - the only recurrent problems we had were people who did too much too soon and buggered up the good work. (It was usually sportsmen who fell into this category - presumably down to pressures to get back into the team).
