They're good they now know what a squash is which was a novelty. The first year we grew lots of potatoes (because they know what they are ) This year I'm planning to grow all sorts.... although I have been told that psb is the most disgusting thing ever... 'purple'!!!

Go ahead and grow the PSB - it's one of the more productive plants and it's excellent as long as you don't cook it to death. Take off the main head first, and then it'll carry on producing side shoots for months. Excellent in stir-fries, quiche, or just as it comes.

I think we will be doing. I love it in risotto. I want to grow as wide a range of stuff as possible to open their eyes to different kinds of veg.

Hi, good luck with the psb, hoping to try it myself this year, what else are you going to grow?
