Did u see gordon ramsay's great escape, the 2nd episode on tuesday he was in northeast India.
He went to a chillie eating contest to beat some record.
The lady ate as many bhut jolokia's as she could but did not beat the record, so she had to rub the rest of the chillies that were left on the tray in her eyes and won

that must of hurt, i watched a programe not so long ago about chilli that is so hot that people have got burns from it

Any chilli can burn tender skin like lips and you certainly wouldn't want to get it in a cut! Ever chopped chillies and then put your finger in your mouth, hours later and after several hand washings? It's still hot! And we've all heard the tales and jokes about blokes going to the loo after chopping chillies......

I read a book where chillies were inserted in people's orifices as torture. It doesn't bear thinking about.

And omg I accidentally put my contact in my eye after cutting habenero for my dehydrator and it ended BADLY.
