Actually, I only do stuff like this to keep the Other Half happy. She likes the idea of having "Competent Man" around, so what else can I do?Silver Ether wrote:I get the feeling that your made for this

If I was left to my own devices, I'd lie on the sofa, watch telly, drink cider from cans and gobble pizza.

Hoooo maaan... I'd offer you a nice cold beer for doing all that but I think that's the last thing you want!!
Perhaps a hot toddy and some biscuits from the oven?

Holey Moley!!
*is there a smiley for cringing with shame* to think I didn't go to work today because we had three inches down here in Wiltshire!
However, the starry sky and hills in the picture look stunning...not that you were stopping to admire the view that night I am sure!
Hope it stops snowing up there soon!

Re: Snow shovelling—the Stonehead way
Hello there ,
stonehead you shovel the snow away does yours stay away ?
Saturday we had 10 inches , and 8 beaufort , shoveled it of the drive (350M1).
Sunday it was back !Shoveled it away .
Today it was 6 beaufort ,another 10 inches of freshly blown in snow !
Alltogether we have had around 12 inches , but the bloody stuff combined with wind ,
gives you 60 inches of work !
But it is a good physical exercise , a bit like chopping wood ,
reagrds ,
Paul
