We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

hello, just discovered this great site!

i'm sam, have been learning to live more self sufficiently over the last couple of years and grow lots of yummy veggies as well as working full time and bringing up my son as a single mum.

my dream is to eventually move somewhere a bit more remote, build an eco-home and be pretty much totally self sufficient.

i am already an active member of a couple of forums and doubt i'll have the time to post much on here but i'm sure i'll find some of the other posts a great source of information.

love and light xxx

Hello there dready and welcome to the forum

There are eco homes in the middle of some cities, you don't have to go and live out in the sticks. Have a look at these self build ones in Bristol.

Hiya Dready Warrior and welcome ... i too was brought up in the country and have just returned after living in the city ... the fresh air is the thing i missed the most ... now when i go back to the city for a visit i smell the smell first before i see anything that resembles me getting closer ...

Hope to see you around :flower:
I am happy to have a space to grow once again :)
