Re: would like to connect through facebook
Me too, Derry!
I have only been using it for a week a so. (I joined because my classmates wanted to start a group there so that we could help each other out as we work towards our various jobs/careers in ESL). However, since I joined, I have become quite addicted to Farmville, FishLife and ZooVille (which, sadly, I am quite proud of as I have small but really nice Zoo. So drop by and take a look when you have a free moment
).

Re: would like to connect through facebook
Berti, I have asked you to accept me as a friend, and I have sent you a wee Christmas message in Dutch. At least, I hope it is.
Missy, I shall get onto you in a moment!!!
I like Facebook - I've reconnected (maaan!) with loads of my old school, uni and work mates. We don't do much, but it's nice to know they are there. And the groups (like the Ish Group), I have learnt, can be very useful if the actual forum site goes down for any reason - it's a good way of being able to continue communicating.

I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

Please feel free to add me but let me know who you are please :)
Edit - I love Facebook, all my friends from around teh UK and even the world in one place where I can say hi instead of storing everything up for an occasional e-mail. I've found lots of old friends on there from when I have moved about the country and it's nice to be back in touch with them.

Re: would like to connect through facebook
Thank you everyone who added me, and thanks to those that asked to be added to my list - I'm really sorry if I missed anyone out.
Thanks to a past career in the IT Industry, and a few psychotic ex boyfriends, I don't like putting out my real name on forums , but I am in the Ish Group on Facebook and use the same photo I use here (haggard looking woman in a silly peaked cap carrying baby in similarly silly hat, wrapped in a Mei Tai that looks like it was dragged from a caravan window circa 1975). Failing that, my first name is Jacqueline. And my surname is the same as a county in the far south east of England.
