The same is true in the Czech Republic - you bring your own bottles and containers, they press it - and you pay about 8p a litre. Could this be a service that local councils in the UK could offer? Perhaps some already do?

In my town there is a deli which imports 40ft lorry's full of grapes from italy and also own a grape press.
so u buy trays of grapes and he will press them for u for making wine. :drunken:

Would love to know if there was something like this in Dorset! Would certainly use the service
