Hi people, I have been "lurking" for some time and I find most ishers are not normal...so I thought...my kind of people !
So I would like to say a big "hiya" to all
We have been keeping chickens for about 30 years or so, a garden that is always a mess (there is always next year )
Our pride and joy is a new polytunnel, which takes up most of our small back garden.
We are blessed with plenty of the wet stuff, OH says we are over blessed; so we do not need to conserve water, maybe we should open a fish farm ( permaculture:turning a problem into the solution). Tony

Chickens huh. I butchered Chickens and 3 turkeys for the first time this spring.
many of the hens were 3 years old (boy were they tough to chew). we had a heck of a time plucking them...any hints ?
