Hello from sleepy Wiltshire, UK

Post: # 175286Post BlueRuby »

Hi Hi,

I'm 34 and from Melksham, UK, not too far from Brothers Hamilton. In fact, gonna see them on Saturday for a foraging course - looking forward to it!

Recently swapped roles with (now ex!) wife to stay at home with our 2 kids while she went out to work. This has given me time to get into my vegetable and wildlife gardening. All part of the greater plan to drop out of the dreary work-focused life.
Also given up the mobile, the tv and swapped the car for a bike. In fact, next project is to cycle/wildcamp round the UK in the spring. Spending much of my time at the mo preparing for that in between my many other interests.

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Looking forward to meeting you all.

And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Welcome to the site Blue Ruby and Clare

Very interested in your plans to cycle round the UK. Done a little bit of long distance cycling in the past. Please keep us updated and let me know when you are down in Cornwall, maybe we can cycle together for the day
