Rabbits

Post: # 175074Post suze_a »

Hi,
Have a rabbit question. Me and my fella have had rabbit casserole a couple of times, both times cooked in a slow cooker for 10-12 hours, and i don't think they were mixy rabbits. We both individually felt a bit shaky and odd an hour or so after eating, as if we had really low blood sugar or something. This happened on both occasions to both of us. Any ideas, or has anybody else felt like this?
Cheers,
Sue.

It was certainly not the rabbit, unless it had gone off. Myxomatosis doesn't affect humans in any way - even eating an infected rabbit would do you no harm whatsoever.
