Hello from Honiton, Devon

Post: # 173250Post rullfarm »

Hi everyone. We are Sally and Steve and we live in the countryside just outside Honiton in East Devon. This year was our first of taking veg growing relatively seriously and we have mostly been thrilled with the results. I found this site because I needed a simple recipe for wine made from grapes as a friend has just given us 3lbs of grapes to play with. I love cooking and brewing and Steve's hobby seems to be managing our fuel supply - wood! We have a couple of acres so plenty of room but alas not enough time as we both work. I am looking for inspiration and ideas from other self-sufficient-ish folk for saving money, the environment and having a good time doing it!
Cheers :drunken:
Sally

Welcome to ISH :flower:

Sounds like you two are well matched, and will be great ISHers. (You do the opposite jobs to me & my hubby; I grow it he cooks it.) Don't just stop at wine, plunder all our ideas, then add yours.
