Well there are words for what I think of this news piece and they are not printable. here in NZ christchurch has a polution problem because of being built in a basin and certain winds hold the polution over the city, solution!, ban open fires and then certain log fires. heating sources allowed
Gas Fires (Pollutant)
Diesel Boilers (pollutant)
Pallet Fires (uses electricity to burn wood pallets, anyone see the hypocracy in this)
Heat Pumps (increases demand on infrastructure where 40% of electricity generation is coal fired)
Not to mention the large numbers of planes, cars and diesel vehicles dumping tons of carbon into the air. also electricty companies put there prices up as soon as law passed.
does anyone else think that the lawmakers haven't got a brain cell to share between them

Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."

It's all become about the Carbon Economy these days. It's bonkers! most of the policies that seem to be happening regard the ability for government and multinationals to trade "carbon credits" rather than actually do anything that would be effective.
