Just noticed that an awful lot of spammers have joined - can they be weeded out?

hope so...

Why don't the spammers realise that people cotton on to them very quickly and are not even remotely interested in their websites.

Grrrrrrrr.

There are always spam members joining and I try and delete them pretty sharpish, neglected my duties there recently as I don't seem to find the time. Will get onto it though.

Didn't mean to criticise you, Andy, I know you are very busy... But I was genuinely wondering whether joined up members can be deleted? So they obviously can, which is good to know.

(Ha, everybody, you behave yourself, or I get Andy to delete you   !)

Andy, you were talking a while ago about giving the mods power to delete members. It would be helpful to have as I deleted a posting by a 'new member' recently but can't delete the member.

Then I can start banning everyone temporarily for a laugh! (OK only joking  )

Yep that is still something I plan to do, although I really am reluctant to mess around with the forum after last time. It was a nightmare getting it back up, but now that there is a forum on the .tv site I can use that for practice and see what happens.
