We had a great dane/lab x, and he had perfected the art of sniffing the air slightly to see if there wa a mere chance of rain...he used to sit at the top of the stairs and if you mentioned the W word, he'd sniff and then glare at you and walk i the other direction if there was rain within a 20 mile radius...

He'd also perfected the arts of sleeping and selective deafness...it was amazing, you could tell him to move 20 times, getting louder every time and he couldn't hear you, but if you mentioned bonios in a whisper, he'd be there...right by your side! Or, if you even thought about going to the fridge for a chesse sandwich, he'd be at the fridge before you!
