Just been on our first forage, hello!!!!

Post: # 170513Post jax23 »

Hi there, now we dont live in London and Im doing a pastry course we thought it was time to pick some berries and put them to good use. Just been on a 5 hour rabble and have a fabulous haul.

several pounds of hawthorn, rose hip, sloes and some elderflower (dont worry all from different trees we left plenty for the birds!)

we have picked what we thought were damsons or plums but after searching for leaf shapes now we are really not sure.

I'll post the picture main page and see if anyone has a clue.

loving this site!

Jax n dave

Welcome to ISH :flower:

First you forage, then you grow a few herbs, then you get an allotment & before you know it you're buying a five acre holding...T'is what happened to hubby & me! You have been warned!
