our watering can tap is in the big meter cupboard. as was our box of bamboo skewers.
I bent down to fill the watering can, and felt a prick in my head. stood up and took a little while to register that there were sticks sticking out of my forehead.
I pulled them out and the holes gushed blood. i then panicked, because i do when i see blood. I shouted jim whilst holding the nearest clean bit of fabric to my head and he came in to find me gibbering, blood dribbling down my face, holding a blood covered sock and saying something about skewers.
he force fed me chocolate, made me sit down, cleaned me up and then cuddled me until i stopped crying. then he gave me more chocolate. his quick thinking has meant that for the irst time in 3 years, i have had a shock and an injury but not gone into full on shock, gone grey, babled s***e for 5 mins and then passed out. i felt a little icky, so i think my body just missed the middle bit of my normal coping mechanism out lol! yay for jim and yay for double decker bars hahaha!!
my mum said maybe i should buy some glucose tablets to keep in the first aid boxes we have dotted about the house, just in case.
so, please give a round of applause to my wonderful hubby, always calm in a flibble based crisis.
only could have done that

You're in the wars at the moment aren't you?
Thank goodness hubby was there and I hope you don't have too many nasty marks on your forehead.

Aww,
You're Mum is spot on with the gloucose tablets though. I use a spoonfull of sugar (very Julie Andrews!) in emergencies, but I never leave the house with out chocolate.

Well, he's on the right lines. Facial hair, lying down and having a notebook and biro certainly help. (I am qualified to say that as I know a writer who spends most of his time with those things and he's published, so good luck to Mr Flibble there. It's only a matter of time before his obvious talents are recognised.
