Pumpkin brews

Post: # 165487Post Calum »

Since pumpkin season isn't too far away, has anyone ever made a wine / cider with them? I have an inkling that apple and pumpkin could work well together, but I've never tried...

Pumpkin, marrow, courgette, aubergine - any kind of squash-y water-filled thing which tastes gorgeous when roasted in olive oil with lots of garlic ...

... fails miserably when it comes to making wine.

Just my opinion, of course.
