What's the dose for Epsom Salts for tomatoes?

Post: # 163421Post Millymollymandy »

I've just realised that I haven't a clue and of course it's not written on the tub! I don't want to foliar feed because the plants have been sprayed with B. Mix so I just want to water it on to 5 plants in pots.

Can you tell me in litres please because I don't do gallons!

I can't remmeber the weight ratio now but it works out to about a tablespoonful dissolved in a wateringcan of luke warm water, left to cool. You are supposed to spray it on the laves so just a bit if you water them I guess

Well it's currently raining heavily  so that means I'll have to spray the Bordeaux Mix again, oh bah humbug I don't even know if it is really worth bothering about the epsom salts at this late stage! Foliar feeding is a bit difficult when half the leaves (lower ones) are all curled up and yellowy/brown as they always are by this time of the year, and I'm picking some of them off anyway because they are in the way of the ripening toms!
