Cider gammon

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Cider gammon

Post: # 16276Post Tigerhair »

Cook 2 gammon steaks 3 or 4 mins each side, add cup of dry cider, reduce for a couple of mins, add 4 tablespoons of double cream, very gently cook for further couple of mins, add S&P to taste and eat immediately with fresh veggies from garden. (Mustard mash potato lovely with it)

Very simple, but really yummy especially if you drink the rest of the cider with the meal!
