moving to nw spain
hi, everyone,my name is paddy44,i have only just discovered this websight and i am looking forward to veiwing and paticipating , i am very disillusioned with my current life,i long to live in a peacefull place, i live in the northwest of england, i have only been in england for 3months having lived in spain for seven years, alot of you my think this would be heaven, but for some reason that i am really not to sure of i lived in the benidorm area!!!!, i had to return to spain 3 weeks ago, and i took the oppurtunity to hire a car and go and visit galicia in the north west of spain ,ohhhhhhhhhhhh what a wonderful place, roads with no traffic (you can actually travel on them and get from a to b) the country side is stunning!! green and fresh without the oppresive heat, the cost of living is low , the crime rate is very low, and to buy an house is possible ,and in alot of areas you can obtain a goverment grant to renevate an old property, i am currently looking at a property (its a ruin really) with 1000 mts of land attached in a forest about 10 kilometers from the beaches of the coste de morte ,this is one of the reasons that i came across this site, i hope to become self sufficient, to be able to live a life where i do not have constant noise, to live a life that i can reduce my impact on the planet,in a place that is an haven for nature and wild things, back to a more simple life, for me and my dog( which i have not yet come across but he is there waiting for me),this is a big decision for me , but with the help of god and a fair wind i will make it , thanks to who ever may read this paddy 44., ps sorry for any spelling mistakes, not my best subject !!!

Hola from lush green ANDALUCIA!! I've considered looking at the North, it's clearly beautiful, I've been worried about being off-grid up there (i.e. so much less sun), be interested to hear your plans.
