I would be a sunflower. They are my favourite flower, but maybe....... just to be different........ I would be one of the more "odd" varietys, just to be different!

poor MMM I can equate to that, I'm not very good with excessive heat, when I lived in France many years ago I remember holing up behind the shutters in the cool of the house panting gently through the Summer months feeling like a wet lettuce! That's why I chose to retire to Wales, no chance of heat stroke here!
Very sensible, during the heatwave summer of 2003 I wanted to relocate to Iceland!

Elder is a shrub rather than a tree, just under half of the celtic tree months are not actually named after trees, you could be an elderflower
