wooooooooo, thankyou everyonnneee
the interview was just weird.. super super super casual, and they clearly didnt know what to say to me, and about half an hour after i got in, the guy had started to answer emails n the lady was filling in forms, so i was just sat there like a gooseberry =/ it was really awkward.. horribly awkward

Re: Happy Times!
its at a plumbers merchants, so itll mostly be sales using my experience & knowledge from doing city & guilds for the past 2 years. the guy who is now my boss (woo!) has said he'll try and get me in with a plumber, so i could do 2 days plumbing and 2 days sales, because then id get experience of both parts, and could start to work towards getting my nvq's and getting qualified!

Re: Happy Times!
Congratulations on the job.
I've had interviews like that, once had a bloke pull out a blank piece of paper and say "I want to fill this up with things about you". that seemed to be all he had. More recently I had not prepared for one and they had said come in for a chat. I thought it would be just that and they wanted my ideas and I did not really have any. Still I did get some work in the end but the chat was a waste of time.

Good on you. So far, I've not been successful... Ah well. I'm determined not to go back to the job prevention centre, either - so I'll just have to manage somehow!
