Nutritional yeast
*big grin* I just had a look at Hedgie's blog and there is a smashing recipe there for brown rice burgers ... in the recipe it says to use nutritional yeast now I googled this and I right in thinking that its nor like regular yeast as in bread say ... as I do have some proplems with yeast in my diet.

Nope it's not the same as regular yeast. It's an inactive yeast used as a nutritional supplement. It's packed full of vitamins (especially B vits) and minerals and it's a bit like Marmite in the respect that you either love it or hate it.
Don't confuse it with Brewers Yeast either - they are not the same thing.

You should be able to get it easily from a health food store. The brand I get is called Engevita and it isn't very expensive for a large tub that has lasted me ages!
