going to seed too early?

Hi all

Can anyone shine a little light for me please?

I planted mizuna, rocket, mustard greens in March/April and they all went to seed as soon as they'd grown. Last year I had a collosal supply of mizuna and mustard for months long! I'd love to hear any tips and insight as to why these are going to seed so early.

My Rocket went to Seed early as well!!
It might be the sudden rise in temperature but that is just a guess.

That's an interesting thought. I did wonder if the heat had anything to do with it. I am wondering if I re-seed if the same will happen. I'm trying anyway

I'd say it was the sudden hot, dry period. A BBQ summer does make things go to seed unexpectedly from my experience.

I've just sown some more Seeds too. I'm gonna pick the leaves when they're younger this time as well and not wait for them to get bigger. They're tastier when younger anyway.
