How do I get an red wine stain out of a carpet

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

I have to second the white wine on fresh red wine!

I accidentely spilt red wine on a white shirt whilst out at a party, the next thing I knew my friend threw her white wine all over me, and stood there grinning looking very please with herself until she noticed that my top had become so wet it became see through! :oops: It came out though! :mrgreen:
