I haven't had time to get on here for a few weeks, and what a lot I've missed!!

This is a brilliant idea. You two are very enterprising!

Cheers, we like to try.

Here is a little taster of what is to come - still need to do a bit of polishing on it - like I said just a taster.

Nor me. I'll try again from home at the weekend - this work PC is a bit of an abacus.

Wow! Exciting! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Is this all part of the project to make the Hamilton twins more SS?

Yep my fault, I did not realise that I had to tinker with it a bit more, I had set it up so it only works on my machine. Doh.

Mr Hedgewizard - it is more of a plan to try and make self sufficiency a little more accessable for the adverage Jo or Jane kind of the whole ethos of why we do what we do.

Ok it is up and running now - should work with most browsers will be working on a windows media version for those who can't access it.

I will say again this is only a really a taster, still need a bit of polish.

Is anyone else having trouble with the clip? I've tried it several times in both Firefox and Opera, and the whole system crashes every time. If it works OK for other people, I guess it must be me. Haven't tried it in IE yet.

I am using safari a motzila based browser so should work the same??? Do you have quick time installed? Perhaps you will have to wait until we set up the clips for streaming video, miscrosaft, reel time and all the rest of it. Will have to work out why it does not work though.

Cheers Shirlz, it is only a taster and I am glad you like the music,

Ok, saw it.
Fun music.
No mention of who filmed it. :( Leprechauns?

Quicktime seems to be the problem. It's installed, but the system crashes every time I try to use it. Reckon I need to re-install it, but I can't get it to uninstall first.

So, can anybody tell me how to uninstall Quicktime (Wulf?); whenever I try, I get a message saying that a QT file is running in memory, and the uninstall won't go any further. I've tried closing everything that's running, unchecked the QT startup files in the configuration utility, run Safe Mode.

If you've tried "safe mode" and still can't zap it then I'm not sure. You could try reinstalling it without wiping the existing install. That might have the intelligence (aka. artificial stupidity) to sort things out.

That's what I did in the end, Wulf, and it did then enable me to do an uninstall. But there was still an incidence of QT in the Controll Panel (previously there had been two), and reinstalling means I have two of them - one of which still crashes the system.

Back on topic:

But I can now watch .mov files, which means I have seen our heros on their woodland capers. It's very entertaining, but I was wondering if it would attract a wider audience with a car chase and a big fight scene. Possibly a couple of show-stopping songs, too?

Maybe not, then!
