HI i have an alloment in Dorset and am currently trying to get together bits and pieces for a journal for our allotment-anyone have any ideas??
I would love to include the history of allotments and how ours started, also funny gardening/allotment stories and any tips for growing certain fruit veg or flowers

will let you know how the journal gets on-would rather be outside on my allotment and pottering in the garden than be in work!! its cold however a great day for being outdoors!!

Oh to have snow! if we get as much as half an inch - people dont come to work! Id be straight down the allotment doing a spot of clanging the frost bitten earth! if not id be wrapped up warm and out with the dog

....oh in my own dream world now (well it is lunch time)

Hiya Scragster! Whereabouts are you? I'm near Puddletown. We're lucky enough to have our allotment in the garden, but we have a couple of dig buddies who have allotments in Dorchester.

There's a fair few allotmenteers who keep blogs, so if you want a detailed record of what people get up to you could do a search of blogger.com

Welcome to the site, and chip up if you want to know anything! I've never yet asked a question that didn't get any replies (even the daft ones)

did Countryside Management (bout 10yrs ago now)

Parkstone is quite a nice place to live-prefer it to Bournemouth-maybe im just getting old hehe
