Hello from Bedfordshire!

Post: # 150299Post TheLily »

Hello!

I guess i've been making the right 'ish' baby-steps for the last couple of years but,due to having 4 children my last year has been a little sporadic(baby 4 is now 9mnths and digging whilst feeding was an issue  )

So,i'm pulling my finger out and am pleased to have found you all!

I already grow my own veggies, salads, herbs and fruits, have a home for chickens(but have yet to purchase them),have almost all my home-brewing equipment(but have yet to brew anything)am a keen forager and preserver/pickler and my entire family is pet mad so we have quite a few small mammals + dog + African snails + a frog pond.
I'm also a homeschooler for my 5yr old daughter who has Autism.

Looking forward to getting to know you and to gaining some insight and knowledge!

Aha! I was wondering what the rather serious looking fencing round your sweetcorn was for (in the photo on another thread) and now I know - it's a Giant African Snail barrier!

No,it's just a child and dog barrier.
We removed the electric fence when social services got involved :laughing9:
