Crocheted Scarf

I acquired some really lovely (but not incredibly eco-friendly, alas) chilean handpainted wool. I absolutely couldn't resist it as I was certain it would lend itself perfectly to a slightly lacey crocheted scarf.
After a bit of pattern-searching and a couple of days, I ended up with this!




I am ever so pleased with it, and thought "what better first post than sharing my new scarf?!"

the.fee.fairy; that's a very good question! I used about 2/3 of a skein of Arauncania Ranco Multy, which is 376 yards total, apparently, so I suppose 300 yards of whatever sock yarn you liked would be sufficient! It is very long indeed, it's the sort of pattern where you just carry on til you deem it long enough.
