Hellooooo

Post: # 149349Post clairefun »

Hello everyone :)

I've been a member on here for ages but never really posted, so thought I'd introduce myself. My hubby Justin Fun is on here and praises the community spirit, and I've been using a few other forums that just aren't doing it for me - so thought I'd join in the fun here instead!

We live in Medway in Kent and have a large allotment space out past our garden, we've owned it for 2 years and have a bunch of raised beds made with empty wine bottles. This year we're doing the second allotment (20 years of brambles and bindweed - it's been fun trying to clear it out!) and I'm most excited about the tea garden - filled with assorted herbal-type plants for making teas and medicines - not quite ready for it yet but it's nearly cleared. We're building a shed from fence panels and one of those plastic bottle greenhouses, and I'm planning the woodland area as well at the far end of the lottie - I do like a challenge.

Generally, I do the planning and picking what to grow, and Justin does the digging and the planting :D I then take photographs of all his hard work - I'm a little bit obsessed with taking photos of flowers.

Aside from that, I'm very into knitting, and Japanese culture stuff - anime, manga, cosplay, kimono, the food - and generally most geeky-culty things.

Nice to meet you all!
