Hello from Watford

Post: # 146497Post Lavendergirl »

Hello everyone.

Hope everyone is well today,i've been a member of this site for a while now but only just got round to introducing myself.
I am a childminder from Watford and have just been lucky enough to get an allotment :flower: ,we have been on the waiting list now for 3 years but eh its finally happened,so I am reading loads of things about allotments and growing our own produce, all very exciting--the main piece of advice I have been given is to take it in small chunks and not to get to pre-occupied with doing it all in one go.
I am hoping to take the mindess and my grand-daughter(18 mths) to the 'Lottie' with me,never too young to help and see where her food comes from.

Dear Lavendergirl,

Hi, my daughter loved the allotment from the time she could walk ... then puberty struck! Now in her twenties she's come back to veg gardening. Best of luck with it!

Love and Peace

Don't worry Sheena - I'm puzzling over what a mindess is! Well never mind, welcome Lavendergirl and I hope you all have a great time at the allotment.
