GOOSEBERRY BUSHES

Hi can anyone help is it too late to prune back a gooseberry bush and if not how far can I prune back without damaging the plant...also the bush has started to reroot low lying branches should I just cut these back....

I would say it is rather to late for the main plant, but you could cut the re-rooting branches and have a go at propagating a few. That at least would tidy it up a bit. :flower:
