Re: Greetings from the Fens!
Okay, so, I've made a start on the gardens, front and back..
I've turned over our strip of earth at the back, a few precious yards that aren't covered by horrible, horrible patio (bleurgh! Why do people have patios?!) I've planted some ready-grown daffs and snowdrops at one end in the shelter of a damn huge tree that's there. Said tree houses a lot of birds, who make the most of our two birdfeeders.
I have planted some Paris Market carrot seeds at the other and a half-grown raspberry plant thing in the middle, which I intend to cover with netting soon, lest said birds get wind of the fruit which will hopefully appear.
As for the front I've turned the strip there over too, and am planning to put some bulbs and sunflowers in there.
I've a propogator on the go which is hopefully going to have some basil growing in it soon, and some pots with rocket, aubergine and red pepper seeds in it.
Wish spring would hurry up and get here. Getting a bit tired of being cooped up indoors!

This winter is going to be a hard one, but spring will soon be here, so plan ahead!
