cheap loft insulation one day only

starting tomorrow, saturday the 14th on a first come first served basis B&Q are doing rolls of loft insulation for £3 a roll saving over £50 with a maximum of 15 rolls per customer. An average 3 bed semi will take around 10 rolls to complete. We have 275mm in our loft but I'm putting another layer in at this price.
It should have been today but stocks never arrived in all stores . The cost is being subsidised by British Gas.

An update to this is thatB&Q stores have done this today, Friday so it will pay to check at a store near you what day it is / was. Also on another site Focus is doing it also backed by a big power firm no doubt.

Typical freekin hartlepool B&Q.... I was there yesterday at 7.15 only to be told at 8 am that it hadn'r arrived so would be going on sale on the saturday at 8 am....

It arrived at store at 10.30 am so the manager put it all out. Word soon got round the building trade that it wasn't £3 a roll but £1 a roll so they were turning up in vans full of workers to buy 15 rolls only to sell on at a vast profit later.

Obviously when I and others turned up today there were only 12 rolls left which was enough for me but the soft heart I posess let 9 of them go to the other 2 blokes as they only needed a small amount.

I feel a letter coming on here but I bet I get some discount out of the manager before i'm bleeding finished...

Why don't they send these offers out to their customers instead? Then you can only buy your 15 rolls if you have your voucher with you. Companies doing this really should think it through.

Actually that is a good point. Mrs big Ala and I were just saying how do B&Q distinguish between genuine customers and builders etc.

I feel a letter coming on to BG and B&Q head offices here........
