Re: Selfsufficientish blog
I hope that you lot realise that blogging is actually jolly hard work! It seems so easy when just starting out but to keep it up on a regular basis and keep people reading is another matter entirely. With the blog world becoming so full, it takes some doing to keep people reading. And having something to say that gives people a talking point or makes them want to come back and read another installment is quite something. It's not exactly a rewarding experience talking to yourself - that seems to be why so many blogs die the death after a time. Oh and you do get some people who are not like you wanting to be your friends!

Re: Selfsufficientish blog
Luckily, I'm not desperately worried if not many people look at it. I used to like keeping a diary so am mostly treating it as a bit of an online version. We really are trying to get a bit more self sufficient -ish and i think it will be nice to look back and track our progress and keep notes on what works and what doesn't. I shan't be doing much in the way of research specifically for the blog, just blogging what we are doing anyway - if others are interested that's great, and if not its no loss. No doubt it will mostly be friends and family who look at it and I am quite sure my enthusiasm will wane, but until then - I'm still excited!
