Mines got a green sort of woven cover, heavy gauge, does have slot together and screw in poles, now rather bent! Have mended some by pushing copper piping inside! Will try to get photo posted but not very good with pc technicalities!

"hhtp"? I'm not surprised! Yup, it's a solar tunnel (you posh thing you), the screw anchor bolts are a giveaway. How do you find it? And don't say "It's down the end of the garden, past the raised beds"!

Nice raised beds, btw. How do you keep the paths weed free? It looks like bare earth on the photo!

I was looking at "greenhouse" on ebay and up this popped, the price was brilliant, well I thought so,so I just went for it.Had some great tomatoes, chillis and peppers from it last year but didnt really use it to its full potential, but this will change this year! We have just set up the raised beds and plan to spread bark chippings on the paths with polythene animal feed bags underneath to stop the weeds.Trying to make things as easy as possible for myself from this year on,hands will be a bit full!

A bit full?

I'm just starting with my own tunnel this year, so could we keep this thread open (or start a new one) and compare notes as the year goes on?

I did exactly the same thing with our raised beds, except every time the chickens escape they make a beeline for the wood chippings on the paths to see if there's any bugs in them. Makes a hell of a mess! There are eight now and they're finished.. at last!

Thanks matey, sadly I'm well aware that this is the best the raised beds will EVER look. Roll on summer!

Looks great. Wish my garden looked that organised. The bright side to the chickens making their way to the wood chippings - they might leave the plants alone

Yeah, it's organised. I organised it with a JCB last year and it hasn't got over it yet!

Er... em... they're gooseberry bushes that I found stuck in the hedge. If they start to fruit again the chickens have an alternate run that takes them out under some top fruit trees (I made the house with a pophole on each side so they can be sent either way) but I won't be all that upset if they eat the goosegogs anyways, not all that fond of them. I could make wine though!

Or jam? (why does it always turn out pink though?) Gooseberry wine, lovely,Ive only just finished my last bottle, some kind soul dug up their bushes with all the fruit still on! They were just about to go into the skip when I arrived! Sadly nothing could be done for the bushes but we got about 15lb of fruit off them! Some people eh?
