New - also in Devon!

Post: # 136755Post Elizabeth »

Hi all,

great to have found this forum.

We (me, husband and 2 dogs) are in the process of buying a house with a small paddock. Very excited as I can at last put some of my dreams into place! Chickens, lambs and lots of veggies!!!

Have read lots of great advice and will be after some specific stuff real soon....

Here's to a great new year!!

Elizabeth

Thanks

Further down the line we will be looking at ways to give back to the grid!!

Solar and wind power.

We should have no trouble with wind due to being on the edge of Dartmoor but need to look into the planning permission. Although a hose about a mile away (by the crow or dog walking!!) has a very large, new, 'windmill' and they are right on the moors!

Hi Elizabeth, and welcome!
We all have two gifts we should try to use as much as possible - imagination and humour.
Imagination compensates us for what we are not.
A sense of humour consoles us for what we are.
And wisdom tells us not to worry about it!
