Well it was Chives and the broad bean that ended up as the herb nad veg of the month this month. Is there any that we still have not covered or that you have a sked fo rin the past and we still have not covered. Ask away, all suggestions will be considered.
Also what about a fruit of the month and would but we run out as there always seems to be less fruits than vegetables around?
Herb or Vegetable of the month for April, what about fruit?

I guess Rhubarb is certainly one of the fruits that you see on many peoples gardens and allotments and it does not seem to take up too much room either.
How do you grow it, never tried myself

rhubarb
rhubarb is not a bad idea, It's a weird old plant really. Technically it is actually a vegetable! I've cooked a middle eastern dish using spinach and rhubarb flavoured with spices and served with rice. It's much nicer than it sounds and stops the need for putting loads of sugar on your rhubarb.

Re: Rhubarb
Hi,
The book I'm reading at the moment suggests cooking rhubarb with cheese or angelica to tone down the acidity without adding sugar. It doesn't have any recipes though.
